It is a fact that equipment does not suddenly stop working on the day its lease ends, far from it, given a comprehensive refurbishment programme these machines will give many more years of reliable service at a lower cost than new.
However, refurbishment when done properly is an expensive process and with very low end equipment it can be cheaper to buy a new machine.
